Shaw Farm

Established in 1908 as a Dairy Farm by ML Shaw, Shaw Farm has continued as a family owned and operated dairy farm ever since, currently owned by a 4th generation with the 5th and 6th already involved.

Since its beginning, the family’s vision is to market its products directly to consumers through home milk deliver services, currently the fastest growing part of the business! Shaw Farm also offers sales of its glass in milk bottles, and other products, on the farm itself. In the 1950’s, the first farm store was completed offering first milk in glass bottles and then eventually ice cream made on the farm. Additionally, wholesale distribution was made available in the greater Boston area, and still is to this day.

In 2009, because of increase in sales and due to our commitment to food safety and quality a new, on-farm processing facility was completed for milk and ice cream production with modern food safety technology. A more comprehensive farm retail market was established, providing many farm grown and hand-made products to complement our very popular glass bottled milk.

We believe families make a special trip to the farm for the experience of visiting a farm, getting their products fresh and local to go along with the uniqueness of milk in glass bottles!
